Soshanna ♥ I got this on a recommendation from someone on bandcamp. I gave it a fair listen. It's nice progressive metal and they have some good things going on. The guitar riffs can be exciting at times, interesting keys, and what stood out for me was the creative drumming. I just dont think it all melds yet...I dont know, there is just something missing for me, like it needs some fine tuning and some polish. But its good for their first EP. ;-) It will be interesting to see what they do next. Favorite track: Jericho.

william remington Not really sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't as good as what I got. This album is incredible and much to my dismay, I picked it up too late to include on my best of 2012 list. Hate it when that happens. Favorite track: Without the Sun.

How quick we walk into the fire A light so bright I can't see myself We watch as the world ignites around us The sun goes out and this world turns to dust I can't feel what's come before A distant past left far away A light so bright the colors bleed through I turn away but still I see it But do you see me? A shadow scrapes the sky But I can't see it A moment lost in time A time to be free To change and be changed A wave on the sand To find my own light To live this lfe as mine I see it hanging in the sky So close to touch but so far away A distant star that's calling me back home Without the sun when will the morning come? Where were you when the lights went out? Were you scared? Will you ever be the same? I see it hanging in the sky So close to touch but so far away A distant star that's calling me back home Without the sun when will the morning come? Across all time I thought I could see Dawn of a new day Written in the sky The sun is gone And it's far too dark now My eyes are open But I can't see the light I can't feel what's come before I see it hanging in the sky A distant past left so far away So close to touch but so far away The light so bright the colors bleed through A distant star that's calling me back home I turn away but I can't see it Without the sun when will the morning come?

Jericho 07:20
I've seen the things outside, they're still coming and I've seen the things outside, this won't end well my friend. And I've seen the things inside that started this conflict and I've seen the things inside, they're still eating at you and I've seen the war outside, your war outside. Our hate bred hate and now we wallow in this place and wait. Outside our heroes and our walls are falling down. And I've seen the ones inside who spread distrust and fear. And I've seen you sit there laughing, eat and drink your lies. Just outside, the screams of hunger, want and war still sound. And I've seen, you sit there as all reason drowns. Our hate bred hate and now we wallow in this place and wait. Outside our heroes and our walls are falling down. Our hate bred hate and now we make our wars and await our fate Inside our arrogance and wealth will drag us down. I hope it's not too late I pray it's not too late I can hear them just outside they've come for what's been denied to them. I can feel this peace subside. This won't end well. This won't end well my friend.

The River 10:40
The water hides a tide A force so strong it pulls me in Dragged down to the depths Eroded lives are left behind The river guides the flow A calm belies the storm ahead The waters open up The current washes me away Water wears the stone The rock begins to crack. Can it make a mountain move? The river guides the flow One stone is cast One life is cast away From the deepest of depths The waters remain Drowning and healing Let the waters flow over me Flow with the current The river guides the flow Wash away my past Leave me with what once has been Rebirth comes in waves The crack becomes a break The river runs so deep It cuts through what we are Behind each ripple a lifetime With those tides we live and die Rain falls down And washes me away Leaves another man To face these floods Without my past The river pulls me down To the bed below Where I am free To rise again Bathed in my blood I open my eyes And alone I stand Waters flow to the mountain To taste the cold of the rock inside Eroding its center down Slowly breaking its will The tide ebbs and wanes The water forgives all Washes away our sins The river guides the flow

Hubris 07:02
Sitting here, waiting in the silence, listening to rain fall on my hope. In your eyes a light defies the violence. Take my hand, I'll show you all I know. I believe that there will be a new day, the door stays closed you haven't come... but this just can't be?! I believe that you, with me, will renew the world with fire. I can see we'll set you free but still the door stays closed the fire still throws the shadows off the naked walls. I know our trust will grow before the venom takes control. The sickness still grows outside and soon we'll all be consumed. Climb into my mind, take my hand and we'll set you free. We'll watch the world renew itself in flame... until there's no one left to blame.
